On December 5, 2019 in Kazan on the site of the Business Council under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan a round table on waste tyre management took place. It was organized at the initiative of the Association “EcoTyresUnion”.
It is important to note the high activity of the participants, especially the representative of the territorial Rosprirodnadzor authority, in discussing issues related to the formation of a regional waste tyres management system. Executive Director of EcoTyresUnion S. A. Podoynikov made a report on the activities of EcoTyresUnion, presented models for organizing the collection of waste tires that are promising for use in the Republic of Tatarstan. A. E. Zakharova, legal counsel of EcoTyresUnion, commented on the legal aspects that arise when dealing with waste tires.
In the Republic of Tatarstan, problems with the collection and recycling of waste tires are already being solved, which is proved by the successful activity of the waste tyre recycling enterprise LLC «KRYAZH+». M. T. Nuriyakhmetov, General Director of LLC «KRYAZH+», spoke about the organization’s work, implemented projects and development plans.
At the end of the round table, participants stressed that achieving great results requires a systematic approach and involvement of all parties in the process. EcoTyresUnion has been active in supporting the region to create a system for waste tyre management. There is much more to come! We are sure that very soon we will see new successes and achievements of the region in such a difficult area as the waste tyre recycling!
