In Civic Chamber, businesses defended their right to take care of the environment by developing recycling.

Representatives of leading associations representing the largest multinational corporations in their industry indicated their readiness to continue moving at a planned, reasonable, achievable pace. They called on representatives of the state authorities to abandon attempts to achieve a clear result by sharp spikes!

The representative of the Ministry of Economic Development rightly noted that the initiative of the Ministry of natural resources for a 100% recycling norm leads to double standards, and brings the fiscal goal to the fore, while the law and the entire program are aimed at something completely different.

Business representatives demonstrated the real results of their efforts to increase the waste recycling rate and focused on the really urgent tasks for improving the mechanism of the so-called Extended Producer Responsibility.
