On September 4, 2018, the EcoTyresUnion represented by Executive Director Sergey Podoynikov took part in the Russian-Swedish seminar on EPR organized by the Ministry of natural resources of Russia.
The Chairman of the event was the Director of the Department of international cooperation Nuritdin Inamov.
The purpose of the event was to discuss issues related to legal regulation and measures to implement the principle of EPR in the field of waste management and processing at enterprises in various sectors of the economy.
Also, during the event the nuances of European practices were identified, the application of which in Russia could improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the activities of all parties concerned in achieving the goals of EPR in the Russian Federation.
