On March 28, 2019, EcoTyresUnion represented by Executive Director Sergey Podoynikov took part in a meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the organization of work on the recycling and use of secondary material resources. The meeting was held in Yekaterinburg. Along with EcoTyresUnion the meeting was attended by the following parties:

The waste tyres recycling company in the Sverdlovsk region, LLC «CGS», in the person of Director Tunina Margarita Rinatovna, made a report «On the problems of waste tyres collecting and recycling in the territory of the Sverdlovsk region. Interim results of the campaign «Give tyres for recycling — save nature».
Podoynikov Sergey Alexandrovich read a report on the topic:
«EcoTyresUnion – the Union for the compliance with the recycling norms and social responsibility in the field of tire recycling».
Decisions of the meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the organization of work on the recycling and use of secondary material resources in the Sverdlovsk region
- Recommend that CGS LLC prepare a proposal to include measures for waste tyres collection and recycling on the territory of the Sverdlovsk region in the regional program for the management of production and consumption waste on the territory of the Sverdlovsk region, including solid municipal waste, for 2019-2030 (hereinafter – the Regional program) and submit it to the Ministry of natural resources and ecology of the Sverdlovsk region.
- By results of consideration of the proposal of LLC «CGS» the Ministry of natural resources and ecology of Sverdlovsk region prepares the proposal to include the measures for the waste tyres collection and recycling on the territory of Sverdlovsk region in the Regional program and sends it to the Ministry of energy and housing and communal services of the Sverdlovsk region, as the customer coordinator of the Regional program.
- The Ministry of energy and housing and communal services of the Sverdlovsk region together with the Ministry of investments and development of Sverdlovsk region studies the sources and manner of financing the waste tyres collection and recycling on the territory of Sverdlovsk region and implementation in the framework of the Regional programme.

Attracting mass media to place social and environmental advertising and coverage of the events of the «Give tyres for recycling — save nature» Campaign within the framework of the Regional program:
- regional newspaper
- regional television
- media of municipalities and territorial entities
Attracting additional participants to the Campaign events by sending out explanatory materials.
